Fiona Bridges – VIVACITY Social Media Consultancy

After 13 years working in City financial services communications roles I decided to free myself from the corporate politics and set up my own consultancy; VIVACITY.

I attended the Successful Mums Bexley Business Start-up Course to find out more about how to make this a reality.
The course was thought-provoking and insightful, providing me with the timely boost I needed to kick-start my business. We covered a lot of ground in just a few sessions and Jane answered all of our questions along the way, often encouraging group discussions to solve problems.

As a Social Media and Communications Consultant, marketing is part of my job so this element of the course was a refresher and I was delighted to be invited to share my expertise with the group on how small businesses can use social media as a marketing tool.

The topics most useful to me were developing a sound business plan and learning about financial planning – both are really helping me to build my brand now that I understand the fundamentals of what’s required to make VIVACITY a success.

I even secured my first client a week after the course finished!
